Falcon Wing Expertise Nobody Else Has
Model X’s falcon wing doors have complex multi-link hinges, ultrasonic sensors, and actuators that most shops can’t properly service. We’re one of the few independent shops in Southern California with the tools and experience to repair and recalibrate falcon wing doors correctly.
How your Model X repair runs
Seven steps, in the order they actually happen. You are told what stage the car is at the whole way through, so nothing about the repair is a surprise.
Estimate
You bring the car in or send photos through the chat. We look at it and write up what the repair actually needs.
Claim and approval
We send the estimate and the photo documentation to your adjuster and handle the supplements if hidden damage turns up.
Disassembly and blueprint
Panels come off so nothing stays hidden. What we find gets added to the plan before any work starts.
Structural and body
Steel, aluminium and mixed-material sections are pulled and replaced to the measurements the Model X was built to.
Paint and refinish
Colour is matched to your car, not to a code on paper, then blended into the surrounding panels.
Calibration and road test
Cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors are recalibrated, the car is scanned for faults and driven before anyone signs it off.
Delivery
Cleaned, photographed and handed back with the paperwork. You can follow every step of this in the chat while it happens.
Model X repair, answered
The things people ask us on the phone before they bring the car in. If yours is not here, open the chat and ask.
Can I choose my own body shop, or do I have to use the one my insurance names?
You choose. California law lets you pick the repair shop, and your insurer cannot require you to use one from its list. It can recommend, but the decision is yours. Bring us the claim number and we take it from there.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes, with every carrier. We write the estimate, send the photos and supplements straight to the adjuster, and deal with the back and forth so you do not have to. We are not on any insurance company preferred-shop list, which means our repair plan answers to you rather than to a carrier.
Does a Model X need camera and sensor calibration after body work?
Almost always. Cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors sit in the bumpers, fenders, windshield and mirrors. Move or replace any of those and the driver-assist system has to be recalibrated before the car is safe to hand back. We calibrate as part of the repair, not as an extra you have to ask for.
Will you use genuine Tesla parts on my Model X?
We quote OEM parts first. If your policy or your adjuster pushes for aftermarket or recycled parts, we tell you before anything goes on the car and show you the difference, so the choice is made with you and not behind your back.
How long will the repair take?
It depends on the damage and, more often, on parts availability. A bumper and a repaint is a short job; structural work waiting on a back-ordered panel is not. You get a realistic date with your estimate and an update whenever it moves, and you can check the status any time in the chat on this site.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Bring the car in, or send photos through the chat on this page, and we come back with a written estimate at no charge and no obligation. We do not quote a price before someone has actually looked at the damage.
